Louise was eighteen years old when she disappeared on June 24th 1988, She was last seen by a friend, after a night clubbing, when she dropped them off at 4.00am. Louise's white Ford Fiesta car with a gold door is missing.
Louise is often mentioned as a possible victim of Tobin, due to the location, the fact she had not been found, she was small with dark hair and she was the same age as Dinah.
So, let's see.
The first rune I got was ‘Berkano’. This means birth, general fertility, arousal of desire, love affair, new birth. We need to remember, as well as Tobin’s desire to have a woman in his command, his son had just been born when Louise disappeared. This may be a sign that Tobin could be the murderer. It also indicates family problems and domestic troubles, which is what Tobin’s family was suffering at the time. Carelessness, abandon and losing control. Maybe Louise was careless? After all, seeing a stranger at 4.30am in the morning, after clubbing is rather careless.
The next rune is ‘Kenaz’. Vision, revelation, creativity, inspiration. The fire of life, harnessed power, passion and sexual love. Well, the last one is a pretty good indicator. Nakedness, false hope. Well, again, a pretty good indicator, but with false hope, does it mean Louise thought she saw a way out and it was a trick? Maybe she was having car troubles and Tobin offered to fix it?
The third rune is ‘Tiwaz’, reversed. Energy and creative flow blocked, mental paralysis, injustice, conflict, communication difficulties. Well, there certainly seemed to be a conflict, if Louise was abducted, but maybe when being attacked or lured, her mind was blocked? It was 4.30am, she’d been clubbing, maybe she was an unfortunate girl who didn’t think straight? Again, maybe she was offered a way out and didn’t take it because she had no idea how to escape?
Maybe she thought she saw someone walking by or maybe something like a milk-cart? Maybe Tobin left the door on the car open while he telephoned Cathy from a phone booth or something? Maybe she was too afraid to get out of the car?
Speculation, but it seems it is this way.
The fourth rune is ‘Wunjo’, joy, comfort. Certainly not what she must have been thinking, but maybe, scarily, this is how she thought after death. It can mean harmony and spiritual reward, so I believe this means that after Tobin killed her, she felt this as she was no longer suffering.
I truly believe that this is what Louise must have felt if this happened. If it makes her family feel better, she felt relief after her death, if she died.
The fifth rune is ‘Ansuz’, a revealing message, signals, inspiration, enthusiasm. Perhaps she tried to signal with her car horn or the lights? Or maybe as she died, it was a signal for Tobin that he needed to carry on with the next stage? I don’t know how this fits in.
The sixth rune is ‘Algiz’, protection, to shelter yourself or others, defence, keep hold of success. Maybe this means Tobin tried to protect himself, to avoid any blame. Remember, Tobin liked to fake illness after a murder. Maybe he faked an illness, if not to a hospital, to Cathy, to take care of him. Or maybe this means that he went on to dispose of Louise and the car. He’d committed a murder, now to hide her.
The car would have been a problem. Unless Tobin drove it somewhere and dumped it. Even then, it would have been noticeable. My theory is the car was pushed into the sea off a cliff or driven to the beach and let the tide take it. Or maybe Tobin hid it and spray-painted it before dumping it. If the last is true, if the car was found, Louise wouldn’t have been with the car.
The seventh rune is ‘Nauthiz’, delays, restriction. Distress, confusion, conflict, patience, recognizing fate. All of these could describe Louise during the time Tobin had her, but could also be restriction as in Tobin being restricted for dumping her quickly, needing to go home. So my idea of hiding this first would be an option.
Did their home in Brighton have a garage? Or was there a garage nearby he had access to? He could have hidden the car there, perhaps Louise as well, until he had an opportunity to go back, maybe leave Cathy alone again some time after that, or fake an illness to get off work, but tell Cathy he was going out? It seems to work.
The eighth rune is ‘Mannaz’, the individual or human race, attitude towards others and attitude towards you. The rune is reversed, which means depression, mortality, blindness, self-delusion, cunning, slyness, manipulation, craftiness. Tobin.
Now, can the runes tell me where Louise is?
The last rune is ‘Uruz’, reversed. Weakness, obsession, dominance by others, sickness, ignorance, lust, brutality, violence.
Was Louise almost found but this was ignored? Perhaps a little kid saw her body and was too scared to tell, maybe even forgotten now? Or someone saw her body and mistook it for something else? Maybe a lot of people walk in an area close to where she vanished, always missing her?
Let me look at rune meanings.
Oak and ash come up, water, hail and lake. This is Brighton , so this is expected, but I thought to put that anyway. Torch. Yew?
Birch? Metal-working or something connected to metals? These are all I can think of that are connected with Louise Kay.
Remember, what I have below are POSSIBLE connections. They may be where she is, maybe not. Maybe somewhere where evidence is stored, I don't know.
Old Oak Lane, Royal Oak and Castle Bar, Elm Court Apartments, Elm Wood Massage Therapist, Gildredge Park, Hail-a-cab, Wellers Hire, Ancient Yew Tree Wilmington Church, Yew Tree Inn, Yew Tree Inn in Arlington, Tott Yew Road, Yew Tree Close, Birch Mews Autos Garage, Birchwood Group Care Dealer, C Gearing and Son Scrapyard.
